Use Quantower on your Mac or phone by running Quantower Desktop on our Windows VPS and connecting to that same desktop. Ninja Mobile Trader VPS keeps your charts, account connections and copying tools together on the hosted computer, so your home computer does not need to stay on.

1. Prepare Quantower inside your NMT desktop#
Connect to your VPS first, then download Quantower inside that remote Windows session from the official or broker-approved source. Follow Quantower’s installation instructions, including the runtime required by your release. Keep the application folder somewhere your Windows account can write to.
Use the Quantower edition, license and connection supported by your broker or funded-account provider. Connect the intended account and check its data entitlement; Quantower’s FAQ explains that market data comes through connected providers. A sample connection is useful for exploring the interface, but it is not evidence of live account access.
Record your installed Quantower version, server name and Windows username. Keep credentials private. These details help you identify the same installation when you switch devices.
2. Save a workspace you can recognize#
In Quantower’s Workspaces manager, create or rename a workspace—for example, NMT-Quantower. Arrange the charts and panels you actually use, including account, order and position information. If you use copying, keep the Copy Trading status and logs accessible.
Press Ctrl+S inside the Windows session to save it. Quantower also saves workspaces automatically, but saving now gives you a clear handoff point.
Start with one screen and readable account names. Adjust the remote display and test typing or pointer gestures in a text editor before using order controls. The Windows VPS setup guide covers display scaling and touch input.
3. Add the same VPS on your Mac and phone#
Microsoft’s Windows App remote-PC instructions provide the current downloads and device-specific screens.

Use the NMT-provided server address and Windows login on each device. Your website and broker logins are separate. Give the connection a recognizable name and confirm unexpected server-identity warnings with our support team.
You are connecting to the hosted Quantower installation, so there is no second Quantower workspace to rebuild on the phone.
4. Rehearse the Mac-to-phone handoff#
Use a supported simulation workspace with copying stopped for this access check:
- On the Mac, confirm Quantower is open inside the NMT desktop. Note the workspace name, selected account and copy-bot status.
- Disconnect the remote client. Leave Quantower open; do not choose Windows Sign out, Restart, or close the platform.
- Open the saved VPS connection on your phone with the same Windows username.
- Confirm the expected workspace and account appear. Check chart timestamps, connection status and whether the order and position panels are readable.
- Disconnect and return from the Mac. Confirm that you are still using the intended hosted installation.
A disconnected session can remain available for reconnection, subject to server policy; signing out closes its applications. If you return to an empty desktop, check the server, username and session with our support team before launching another Quantower instance. Once verified, the Mac or phone becomes your viewing device; the NMT server runs the workspace. This access rehearsal does not establish that a broker connection or copied order succeeded.
5. Check copying separately from remote access#
Quantower’s Copy Trading documentation makes these operating details explicit:
- A new bot starts stopped. Select the parent and child accounts, set the quantity mode and configure symbol mapping when using different supported connections.
- Quantower must remain open for copying to operate. Disconnecting the viewing device is different from closing the platform.
- A bot that was running before Quantower closed can resume when it reopens. Stop it before exiting if you do not want it to resume.
- Check every dependent connection and the logs after a restart. A running bot does not prove that every child connection is active.
Test copying, order changes, cancellation and exits using supported demo or simulation accounts. Child accounts can reject orders or differ from the parent, so inspect their actual orders and positions. Cross-platform copying also depends on the copier’s supported platforms and connections; hosting does not add those features to Quantower itself.
